Born at Sivajipuram, a beautiful village near Kalady. Schooling at St. Mary’s L.P.School, Thuravoor near Sivajipuram and B.H.S. Kalady. College study, Sree Sankara College, Kalady.
Secured First rank in Mcom Degree Exam from Kerala University.
Started official career as Lecturer in M.A. College, Kothamangalam. Worked as Lecturer in Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur. Later joines Sree Sankara College, Kalady as Lecturer.
Combined social work along with the teaching profession. Associated with many socio cultural organizations.
Promoted Sree Sankara School of Dance in 1993 at Kalady. Also promoted a number of associate bodies of SSD. Promoted National Sree Sankara Dance & Music Festival at Kalady, the birth place of Adi Sankaracharya from 2003 onwards. The Festival was elevated to International Sree Sankara Dance & Music festival in 2017.
Conceptualised and produced three mega classical dance programmes to propgate the great messages of Adi Sankaracharya, Sree Narayana Gurudev and Lord Krishna.
Worked as Secretary of Agamananda Swami Smaraka Samithi for 20 years and organised Agamananda Jayanthi as a popular event at Kalady. During the tenure as Secretary of Agamananda Swami Smaraka Samithi, he led a silent Gandhian agitation for 21/2 years, against the closure of the study centres in the names of reformist and national leaders like Gandhiji, Adi Sankaracharya, Sree Narayana Gurudev, Chattambi Swamikal, Ayyankali & Agamananda Swamigal. As Secretary of Agamananda Samithi, he took a lead role in instituting Agamananda Award to the best social worker among members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Also instituted the Agamananda Award for the best person who propogate Sanskrit language.The non-violence strike was successful with the re establishment of all the study centres in the University.
As Chairman of Global Malayalee Council, he was one of the organizers of the Global Malayalee Meet at Kochi.
He was instrumental in producing dance programmes based on the concept of " Art for Social Change".
As a social worker, he introduced many schemes to promote the social upliftment of the drowntrodden like micro finance, family units, career counseling, pre marital counseling, coaching classes for competitive exams, personality development classes, interview techniques, counselling, motivational classes, value based education etc.
Occupied various positions such as Vice President, Sree Narayana Suhrut Samithi, State General Secretary, SRVCS, District President, State media Convenor, and State Secretary of Kerala Private College Teachers Association, State president of SRVCS, Chairman SR trust, Chairman, Nellikkuzhi Pilgrimage( a pilgrimage formulated to fight against corruption, communalism, atrocity, terrorism and addiction to alchohol and drugs- the pilgrimage is the first of its kind in India), Chairman, Dr. A.P.J.Abdul kalam memorial Civil Service Academy.
Associated with many NGOs for imparting free coaching to those who prepare for competitive exams. Basic G.K.
